Sevilla veteran Jesus Navas hailed their fighting spirit for the 2-2 draw at Europa League opponents Manchester United.

Sevilla fought back from 2-0 down to earn the quarterfinal first-leg draw.

Former Manchester City midfielder Navas said afterwards: "We insisted, the team didn't give up with everything against us.

"We fought well. We are very happy. The support of the people is very important to us.

"I'm sure the return will be very nice."
