Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson looks like the early season front-runner for NFL MVP, and he was performing more magic on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
On one play, Jackson somehow escaped what looked to be a sure sack, scrambled around in the backfield and fired a pass downfield that was initially dropped by tight end Mark Andrews and then caught by Devin Duvernay for a first down.

All of that happened on second and 19. When Jackson appeared to be swallowed by the Bills defense in the backfield it seemed like the Ravens drive was going to completely stall out with a third-and-a-mile situation. Jackson and his skill position players instead turned it into an improbable first down to keep the driving going.
