USA TODAY Sports

Former Bengals quarterback Jon Kitna is taking over the head coaching role at Lakota East, a high school in the Cincinnati suburbs.

According to John Brice, Kitna landed the open job after previously coaching at Burleson High School in Texas.

He coached the Dallas Cowboys quarterbacks in 2019 and played five seasons in Cincinnati from 2001-05. He started 33 games and finished with an 18-15 record.

Now, Kitna is back in the Queen City leading one of its more prominent high school programs.
