The Pittsburgh Steelers added another piece to the offensive line carousel. Adrian Ealy who was an undrafted free agent spent most of his time bouncing on and off the Ravens Practice squad. He spent time on Baltimore, Denver, Rams and Green Bay practice squads last season.

This signing is not a significant move to help bolster a struggling offensive line. This move is more of a depth piece and to add some competition at the position. The Steelers could have a really big problem on their hands with the shaky play of the linemen. Reports came out of camp of struggles on the line. Many believed it was due to the Steelers having an elite defense.

After struggling against a poor Seattle defense and being man handled by the Jaguars the Steelers need to make a move. Tomlin and company have a lot more faith in this offensive line than they should. It blew up in their face last year. If they plan to keep Pickett and Trubisky from getting injured, something has to give.

lesson learned by the organization. They need to invest higher draft capital in next years draft. Throwing low round picks and low end free agents together and seeing if it works clearly hasn’t worked as of yet. It will be interesting to see if any more moves happen prior to the start of the regular season.
