Jets' Injury Report: Garrett Wilson, Will McDonald Limited Wednesday with Bills Up Next

The New York Jets have a few lingering bumps and bruises as they prepare for a Week 11 road game against the Buffalo Bills.

Three players were officially non-participants during Wednesday's walkthrough practice in Florham Park while two other notable names were limited.

Offensive tackle Billy Turner remains sidelined after undergoing finger surgery while backup linebacker Chazz Surratt has been out for two-plus weeks due to an ankle injury. Special teamer Sam Eguavoen, who sustained a hip injury in Week 10 against the Raiders, joined Turner and Surratt as DNPs.

"We're in a walkthrough today. Billy Turner won't practice. Chazz Surratt won't practice. Sam Eguavoen is dealing with his hip so he won't practice," said Jets' third-year head coach Robert Saleh. "You'll see a bunch of guys on the injury list that are either limited or full."

As suspected, receiver Garrett Wilson appeared on Wednesday's official injury report. He temporarily left last Sunday night's game due to an arm issue. The reigning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, who finished with 93 receiving yards on nine catches, reentered the road game against the Raiders wearing a white compression sleeve, with a sewn-in elbow pad on his right arm.

Wilson was a limited participant Wednesday along with rookie edge rusher Will McDonald. The 2023 first-rounder, who was inactive against the Las Vegas Raiders, initially landed on the injury report last Friday.

"He's dealing with an ankle. He finished practice yesterday, but it popped up this morning," said Saleh heading into the Week 10 road contest.

McDonald, the No. 15 overall draft pick, has played seven games thus fat this year. The first-round rookie was in on his first career sack against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9.

The Bills practiced without defensive tackle Jordan Phillips and receiver Trent Sherfield on Wednesday in Orchard Park. Four players were limited, including starting safety Micah Hyde.

The Jets and the Bills will kick off at 4:25 pm ET on November 19 at Highmark Stadium.
