Giants WR C.J. Board carted off field after scary hit

If fans were allowed at MetLife Stadium, they would've been silent as C.J. Board was carted off the field.

The New York Giants wide receiver attempted to make a catch early in the third quarter when he was hit by Washington Football Team safety Deshazor Everett. Board awkwardly fell to the ground and couldn't move as medical personnel attended to him on the field.

Board was ruled out for the game with a neck injury.

The 26-year-old remained on the ground without moving for several minutes. He had his face mask cut off and his back stabilized before exiting the field.

Board was claimed off waivers by the Giants from the Jacksonville Jaguars this past summer. He's also spent time with the Baltimore Ravens, Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns.

He has seven catches for 64 yards this season.
