The Buffalo Bills have signed punter Matt Haack ahead of their divisional round matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
Sam Martin suffered a hamstring injury in the wild-card round against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and Buffalo is taking proper precaution by bringing in Haack.
Haack spent 2021 with the Bills as their punter. He spent all of 2022 with the Indianapolis Colts, and appeared in one game for the Cleveland Browns this season. He began his career with the Miami Dolphins where he spent four seasons from 2017-20.

The Bills also waived running back Leonard Fournette from their practice squad in advance of this move, presumably to free up the roster spot to sign Haack. The Super Bowl champion running back accumulated 12 carries in two games with the Bills for a total of 40 yards.
