Former Penn State quarterback Trace McSorley has landed with a new team. Per a report from NFL insider Jordan Schultz, the Bears have signed the ex-Nittany Lion to the practice squad.
News of Chicago’s signing comes as Bears starting quarterback Justin Fields deals with a dislocated thumb injury. He sustained the injury in Sunday’s 19-13 loss to the Vikings.
Fields popped his thumb back into place but struggled to grip the football. He eventually left the game, turning the offense over to Tyson Bagent.
