Big 12 2024 Football Schedule: Iowa State Edition

Big 12 Football for 2024 will be exciting with 16 teams and who will compete for the championship. Check out the Iowa State schedule below.

Team Overview for 2023

Iowa State finished the season 6-3 in conference and 7-6 overall. They put up 364 yards on offense which seemed enough to win some game and 363 yards allowed on defense to keep the offense in the game. This season they will need more yards on offense to win games and help the defense out.

Schedule

North Dakota

These two have never met on the football field before so this should be an interesting matchup to start the season. The Cyclones will start the season with a win.

Iowa

This rivalry is a classic for college football fans. Last season Iowa won 20-13 and added to their 47 wins in this series. This time around won’t be any different when Iowa State loses again.

Arkansas State

Another game for Iowa State that has never been played before. This will bring them another win and put them back in the win column.

Houston

Houston and Iowa State have never met before on the Gridiron so this will be a good way to kick off the Big 12 conference play of 2024. Iowa State will win this game.

Baylor

These two played last year and Iowa State won 30-18. This matchup has been played over 20 times and Baylor has won more of those games. It is predicted that the Cyclones will win this game.

WVU

West Virginia and Iowa State faced off in 2022 when the Cyclones won 31-14. This series sits at 6-5 with West Virginia in the lead and they will stay there when they beat Iowa State again this year.

UCF

This game will be a first for both teams but will be one that played many times in the Big 12 conference. The first win will be taken by the Cyclones in 2024.

Texas Tech

Iowa State and Texas Tech faced off in 2022 when the Red Raiders won 14-10. Texas Tech has 13 wins in this series and they will get the one this season.

Kansas (Arrowhead Stadium)

These two played last season when Kansas won 28-21. This series has been played 107 times and Kansas has 52 wins and they have tied six times over the years. The game this year will add another loss to the Iowa State record.

Cincinnati

The Cyclones played the Bearcats last year and won 30-10. That was the first matchup of many between these two and the Cyclones will gain their next win over the Bearcats in 2024. This will put them at 6-4 on the season.

Utah

Iowa State and Utah last played in 2010 when Utah won 68-27. They have played five times and Iowa State has won four of those games. This time around they will lose and be 6-5 in 2024.
