Spring Practice Notes: What Kirby Moore Had To Say

"Brett [Norfleet] I believe is up 255... He looks really really good, playing good, playing confident" -Moore when asked about the progression of Brett Norfleet.

"We get in third down situations, we don't have to just focus on the wide receivers. The tight end should be a part of that"  -Moore's continuation on Brett Norfleet.

"You have to build little by little, and then little becomes a lot... In our room you point to Brady Cook" -Moore when asked about growth week. 

"You look where he [Cook] is now, that didn't happen overnight" -Moore extending on players development and growth week. 

"Today from the ones was very good, from a red zone standpoint" -Moore when asked about the focus of red zone offense. 

"We had 15 drives in the red zone with penalties, in 11 of them we kicked field goals" -Moore on the Tigers red zone play last season. 

"Lots of different pictures, very competitive. They got guys with experience, they got new guys coming in with the transfer perspective... They're giving us challenges every play." -Moore on facing the Tigers defense in practice.

"I do believe that Brett Brown is a guy that's made the most of his opportunities," -Moore on which young guys have stood out through spring camp. 

"Marquise Johnson has to continue to take that next step" -Moore extending on the development young players in spring practice. 

"I think that could be the case, its something thats still a little too early to say that" -Moore on if Mizzou would approach the season with a running back by committee.
