Missouri Mixup on The Joe Gaither Show

The Missouri Tigers are riding high this football season, firmly in second place in the SEC East, carrying a top 10 ranking and staring a New Year's Six Bowl Game right in the face.

We welcome Joey Van Zummeren into "The Joe Gaither Show on BamaCentral" to tell us the secret to Eli Drinkwitz's success. Drink has is in his fourth year and has Missouri at its highest place in his tenure. Is it all Brady Cook? 

The Tigers did lose in two of its biggest games of the year already, at Georgia and LSU at home, but 2023 is still a breath of fresh air, given the mediocrity of the last few seasons.

Van Zummeren tells us if Drinkwitz is really up on his pop-culture, after he dropped a modern reference to Josh Heuepel after the Tigers big win over Tennessee this past weekend, and he also lets us know why the students were booing starting quarterback Cook at the beginning of the year.

He also gives us two of his unsung moments of the year that've kept the Tigers on pace for its best bowl invitation under Drinkwitz.

The season still has a lot of life left for the Tigers as they'll host the Florida Gators this weekend and then round out the year with a trip to Arkansas. Van Zummeren tells us about this weekend's upcoming game with the Gators and just how the Tigers intend to keep its strong season going.
