One snap, one touchdown. That's all Jaylen Wright needed to put Tennessee on the board in Saturday's critical matchup against defending national champion Georgia.

On the first play from scrimmage, Vols quarterback Joe Milton handed off to Wright, who snaked through his blockers and came into open field, out-racing the Bulldogs' last line of defense on a 75-yard touchdown to take a quick 7-0 lead.

The play marked the fifth straight time that Georgia and its usually-dominant defense allowed an opponent to score a touchdown on the first possession of a game.

Otherwise, the Bulldogs are among the class of college football when it comes to playing defense, ranking 6th nationally by surrendering just 15.6 points per game.

Georgia came into the game undefeated at 10-0 and debuted this week as the No. 1 team in the latest College Football Playoff top 25 rankings heading into Week 12.

The Bulldogs have already clinched the East Division title and will play against Alabama in the SEC Championship Game in the first weekend of December.

Tennessee entered Saturday's game at 7-3 overall on the season and at 3-3 in SEC play coming off a 36-7 loss to Missouri a week ago.
