Alec Pierce First Bearcat Selected on Day Two of NFL Draft

CINCINNATI — Alec Pierce added his name to the list of drafted Bearcats this weekend. The Indianapolis Colts selected Pierce with the 53rd pick.

The raw, athletic talent has one of the highest ceilings of any receiver in this draft and is a vigorous worker who can hit those heights. He set another Bearcats draft record on Friday, becoming the highest-drafted wide receiver in program history.

He figures to be an immediate versatile weapon for the Matt Ryan in Frank Reich's offense.
