LSU remained #1 in the latest BCS Standings while Stanford and Boise State dropped out of the top 5. Oregon moved back in at #4. As I wrote about earlier today, the scenario of a rematch for LSU against Alabama or Oregon is possible but also that human voters might reject those matchups.

What do I think about a rematch? LSU beat both Alabama and Oregon. The Oregon game was decisive while the Bama game went to overtime. However, the Tigers still won both games. To make LSU rematch either team would put LSU in a situation where they would have to beat Alabama or Oregon twice to win the title while they would only have to beat LSU once. It's a scenario that occasionally happens in the SEC and has happened to LSU before. I don't really care for a rematch but if it is that vs. LSU not being in a title game, I'll take it any day.
