2012 NFL Positive Impact Factor, Week 6
It's time to update the NFL Positive Impact Factor through six weeks of the 2012 NFL season. A rookie QB has claimed the top spot (rookies are in bold on this list) this week. As you can see from the video above, Robert Griffin III had a pretty big impact on the Redskins' win over the Vikings this past week.

What has RGIII in the top spot? The rookie signal caller leads QBs in completion percentage (70.2) and lowest percentage of negative plays (28.5). RGIII throws an incompletion, gets sacked or fumbles (negative play) on 5.4 percent fewer plays than 2nd place Peyton Manning. Griffin is also 7th in TD percentage (4.8) and 4th in TD to turnover ratio (3.7). Ben Roethlisberger leads the category with 5 TDs to every turnover (10 passing TD, 2 INT).
Why has Matt Ryan fallen from first place? In his last four games, Ryan has 7 turnovers (6 INT, 1 fumble lost) after having 6 total TD and zero turnovers in his first two games.
Other Notes:
Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers are both tied for the top spot in TD percentage at 5.9 percent.
Ryan Tannehill is last in TD percentage at 2.2 percent.
Mark Sanchez has a negative play on 53.9% of his touches in 2012, which is the worst among NFL QBs.
